A safer way to use your mobile phone while travelling in your car. Apple CarPlay allows you to seamlessly integrate your mobile phone with your car’s head unit. You are able to use apps such as Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, Apple Music and many more supported apps. It even allows you to integrate calls, text and music. Carplay can be connected Wirelessly via WiFi/Bluetooth on BMW NBTevo systems.
Apple CarPlay looks even better when it takes up the entire screen. Being able to take advantage of your wide screen is amazing, as it looks great and usability is a lot better. This can only be activated if your iDrive firmware starts with N, O, P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X or Y. CarPlay will take up the entire screen on your BMW. This disables the split-screen functionality only when using CarPlay.

If you have software version starting with P, Q, R, S, U, V, W, X or Y then you will need to get it coded using ENET/OBD cable, such as DIY (cable), DIY (MacOS), Remote or in Person. Remote coding requirements are below.

Approximately 90% of cars have a WiFi antenna, but some models may require an additional WiFi antenna to ensure CarPlay functions properly. It is the buyer’s responsibility to buy one. You can always buy one after CarPlay activation, as the WiFi antenna is plug-and-play.
Apple CarPlay is compatible with Apple iPhones only. Not for Android or other devices. No Refunds if you ordered by mistake.
Please note. No returns or refunds because the Files/Codes are tied to your car’s VIN number.
Please allow up to 24 hours for your file/code to be made and sent to you. It is usually a lot less.

Our activation is completely Warranty Safe!
If you get CarPlay coded using USB Coding, we will send you an extra file that you can use to Disable CarPlay and restore your iDrive to OEM settings.
Similarly, if you get it coded using the Cable method (DIY or remotely), we provide you with the code to easily disable or enable CarPlay and restore to OEM settings. Takes less than 5/10 minutes.
Once you have disabled CarPlay, BMW dealerships should no longer detect it, and this will not affect your warranty.
After the car has been returned from the dealer, you can easily enable CarPlay using the same method.
*Please note: You MUST disable CarPlay before sending the car to the dealership; otherwise, the warranty may be impacted.
We can activate CarPlay for you remotely if the USB solution is not suitable for you. We offer remote activation of CarPlay, no matter where you are in the world. All you require is a Windows Laptop, an ENET/OBD Cable and an Internet connection. We can help you set up everything. After that, you will need to book a slot for remote activation.
